El Turry

Antonio “el Turry” is the son of the guitarist Ricardo de la Juana and the dancer Rosa la Canastera. At the age of 10 he joined his father’s company and from there he began his professional career. At the age of 18 he moved from Almuñécar to Granada where he began to work in the main tablaos of the province. Since then there are many big names in the flamenco world with whom, despite his young age, he has already worked. Eva Yerbabuena, Niño Josele, Marina Heredia and a long etcetera of top artists stand out.

To highlight the presentation of two shows of his own “Flamenco por Naturaleza” in 2015 and “Misa Flamenca” in 2016, which were a great success with critics and audiences. In 2019 he releases his first album “Sentir que sueño” which he himself composes and produces with the participation of artists such as Jorge Pardo, Jerónimo Maya, Israel Suarez “Piraña” and many more.

In 2024 he will release his latest album “Nazarí”, a live concert with the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada conducted by Manuel Busto and the special collaboration of the pianist Juan Carlos Garvayo. A symphonic flamenco concert in which the singer performs the work of “Alegro Soleá” by the cantaor also from Granada Enrique Morente and Antonio Robledo.
